Dear Centrecorp Foundation Team,
On behalf of Yirara College and our Central Region athletics team, I would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for your generous support in funding our students’ participation in the recent State Athletics Championship in Darwin.
Your contribution made it possible for our students to compete with pride and determination, and the results were truly inspiring. Our region achieved an outstanding 24 medals, with our Yirara mob proudly securing 14 of them. These achievements reflect the hard work, resilience, and spirit of our young athletes—many of whom represented their communities on a major stage for the first time.
While the event was filled with celebration and success, we also faced a moment of sadness when one of our students had to withdraw due to medical reasons. Their courage and strength remain a source of inspiration to us all.
Your support went beyond logistics—it empowered our students to believe in themselves and strive for excellence. You have helped create memories that will last a lifetime and opened doors to future opportunities for our young leaders.
