- For remote schools (not Alice Springs or Tennant Creek) a Statutory Declaration from the Principal stating that, if successful, Centrecorp funding will only be used to support Aboriginal students with ancestral connections to the Central Land Council Region.
Education
- Past due amounts (overdue school fees) are not normally paid.
- Past due amounts where student is no longer attending the school will not be paid.
- $10,000 per annum is the usual maximum for fees.
- Building levies, uniforms, book packs, prepaid camps and excursions are not funded. We generally direct our funding to school fees for education and tutoring.
- Support for tertiary education not usually provided though the Board may consider costs of living away from home costs, textbooks and other ancillary costs. University or higher education fees will not be funded.
- Support for IT equipment is usually limited to $1,000 but if applicant working for a FBT concessional salary packaging organisation then application will likely be denied.
- The Board consider school attendance as critical in achieving academic outcomes. If the applicant has previously been warned about attendance, and it has not been addressed, then denial of funding is likely.
