Centrecorp Foundation makes a beneficial and ongoing difference to the lives of Aboriginal people in Central Australia in many different ways.
One of those ways has been to inform Aboriginal boarding students about the Indigenous Skills and Employment Program (ISEP), which the National Apprentice & Employment Network (NAEN) is running in Alice Springs in partnership with GTNT.
The program has two main goals;
- Supporting businesses to build their capacity to employ and retain Indigenous young people.
- Helping young people gain meaningful employment opportunities.
Connecting your child with opportunities such as:
- Industry exposure tours – meeting potential employers and exploring career paths.
- Leadership development workshops – building confidence and skills for the workplace.
- Work preparation programs – helping young people secure casual jobs while in school and transition into full-time employment after graduation.
