We would for like to thank Centrecorp for all the support offered to Eli Clake toward his goal of becoming a dancer over a number of years.
While in year 12 Eli was offered his first role with Opera Australia performing in Westside Story on the Sydney Harbour.
The following year he auditioned for Bangarra Dance Company and now is in his second year as a company member sharing stories of Aboriginal Australia at the highest level.
Only 1% of trained dancers will ever perform as professionals after over 10 years of intensive training. Centrecorp's support was vital in him accessing necessary professional training in Sydney and has given Eli the opportunity to represent Central Australia / Aboriginal culture on international and domestic stages.
