At Community Housing Central Australia (CHCA) and Centrecorp Foundation, we are dedicated to empowering tenants and supporting them through their housing journey.
One such success story is that of “Sarah”, a single mother who moved into CHCA’s housing program with her two young children after facing periods of housing instability.
Upon moving in, Sarah was welcomed by our team, who worked closely with her to create a plan for sustainable housing. She was provided with referrals access to support services, including budgeting advice, tenancy education, and childcare resources. Over time, Sarah gained confidence in managing her finances and securing part-time work, which improved her family's financial stability.
With consistent housing support managed by CHCA and provided by Centrecorp Foundation, Sarah was able to transition into a more secure long-term rental. Today, she continues to thrive in her role at work while ensuring her children are excelling in school. Sarah's journey is a example of the impact of safe, stable housing and the strength of community support.
At CHCA and Centrecorp Foundation, we celebrate these victories, as each success story helps build a stronger, more resilient community.
